1. KYC-AML Policy
Pixpel FZ-LLC, incorporated in the RAK Free Trade Zone, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates ("Pixpel," "we," "our," or "us"), is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and the misuse of its Platform for unlawful purposes.
This KYC/AML Policy ("Policy") outlines the measures Pixpel applies in connection with the use of its decentralized platform, including the NFT marketplace, Launchpad, decentralized exchange (DEX), Token Creator, and related services (the "Platform").
Although Pixpel provides non-custodial, on-chain software, we adopt these measures to align with international compliance standards.
2. Scope
- "This Policy applies to all users of the Platform. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with this Policy.
Pixpel reserves the right to refuse or restrict access to any user who fails to meet KYC/AML requirements or is identified as a prohibited person under this Policy."
3. KYC Requirements
Pixpel may require users to provide identification information in the following cases:
- Participation in the Launchpad or other fundraising events.
- High-value transactions exceeding thresholds set by Pixpel.
- Suspicious activity or risk alerts flagged by monitoring systems.
Required information may include:
- Full legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Nationality and country of residence.
- Government-issued ID (passport or equivalent).
- Proof of address.
- Wallet address used on the Platform.
For card based on ramp and off ramp flows, KYC and screening are performed by the regulated payment partner within its checkout or API flow. Pixpel receives only the verification outcome and transaction reference required to enforce platform access controls.
4. AML Measures
Pixpel applies risk-based procedures to mitigate AML risks, including:
- Jurisdiction Screening: Pixpel prohibits usage from sanctioned jurisdictions under UN, EU, OFAC, and UK HMT regimes. Pixpel may restrict or limit access to certain features based on jurisdictional risk and payment partner availability.,
- Wallet Monitoring: Pixpel may use blockchain analytics tools to identify suspicious wallet activity, such as mixing services, darknet interactions, or sanctioned addresses.
- Transaction Review: Transactions may be delayed, suspended, or blocked if suspicious activity is detected.
- Reporting: Pixpel reserves the right to report suspicious activity to relevant authorities when legally required."
5. Record Keeping
KYC data and AML monitoring records will be retained securely for a period of up to five (5) years, unless a longer retention period is required by law.All data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform to:
- Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other criminal activity.
- Evade sanctions or provide access to prohibited jurisdictions.
- Facilitate fraudulent token offerings, scams, or illicit projects.
Violation of this Policy may result in denial of service, account termination, and reporting to competent authorities.
7. Responsability
The Compliance Officer of Pixpel FZ-LLC is responsible for implementing and overseeing this Policy.Pixpel employees and contractors are required to comply with AML/KYC standards and report any suspicious activity encountered in the course of their work.
8. Updates to This Policy
Pixpel may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law or best practices. Updated versions will be published on our Website.
